As the gasps faded, the chemical reaction with paint gave me some lovely effects…’ JP ‘These cars were being brought in by night in unmarked trucks and backed right up to the studio doors, so there was an atmosphere of secrecy on the set. Then I had to make it all look trompe l’oeil and on this scale that takes focus..
